Oral Exams
Comprehensive dental exams to monitor your oral health, detect problems early, and keep your smile healthy. We examine teeth, gums, bite, and screen for oral cancer at every visit.

Review Your History
We begin by discussing your medical and dental background, current concerns, and any symptoms you're experiencing.
Perform a Thorough Exam
We examine your teeth, gums, bite, jaw joint, and surrounding structures, and screen for oral cancer and gum disease.
Take Diagnostic Images
We capture X-rays as needed to see what's happening beneath the surface and get a complete picture of your oral health.
Discuss Your Results
We explain our findings in plain language, outline any treatment that may be needed, and answer all your questions.
How often should I have an oral exam?+
We recommend routine checkups and cleanings twice a year for most patients. Regular visits allow us to monitor your oral health, prevent problems, and catch any issues early when they're easiest to treat.
What can an oral exam reveal about my overall health?+
Your mouth can show early signs of systemic conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory problems. During your exam, we look for oral symptoms that may indicate health issues elsewhere in your body, so we can refer you for appropriate care.
Will my first visit include X-rays?+
We recommend diagnostic X-rays as needed to perform a comprehensive exam. X-rays help us see between teeth, below the gumline, and in the bone—areas we can't evaluate with a visual exam alone.

Periodontal Treatment
Comprehensive gum disease treatment to restore healthy gums and prevent tooth loss. From early gingivitis to advanced periodontitis, we help you maintain optimal periodontal health.
